The S58 engine uses an aluminum block with a spray-on iron coating for enhanced durability, offering the strength of cast iron but with superior heat dissipation and weight reduction.
These pistons are engineered to work seamlessly with the factory cylinder walls—no modifications needed. However, if the cylinder condition is poor, sleeving the block will be necessary.

Please note, the Pro-Xtreme Piston is engineered to handle up to 2000HP, however, the Standard Wrist Pin can only handle 800-850HP. To exceed 850HP, it is a MUST to use Heavy Duty pins.
