The KW HLS 2 Hydraulic Lift System is a front-axle lift kit that raises a lowered or low-clearance sports car by up to 45 mm at the push of a button, helping it clear speedbumps, railroad crossings, road works, garages and underground car parks. Because the hydraulic cylinder sits between the spring plate and the spring of each KW strut, driving dynamics are unaffected, and the vehicle automatically returns to its original ride height at a certain speed.
The system can be activated from inside the vehicle via an LED control button, works while driving at up to 80 km/h, and lifts in 4 to 5 seconds. Coated aluminum cylinder components make it corrosion resistant, and the kit is supplied as a conversion for OE suspension with a control unit that connects to the vehicle's on-board electronics.
